14th – 17th March 2018

Course objectives:
The course is an advanced clinical training for those who want to come and learn a technique which they can take home and put into practice.  Although not easy, this does act as a stepping stone to moving fully into orthotropics.

This system has been developed to be less complicated or involved, than the classic system, to assist people with more moderate problems, who have better function and posture, to change and improve. However it requires more personal motivation and dedication than the classic therapy.
The 4 day course is open to Home, EU and Overseas applicants with experience in BBO treatment. Upon successful completion of the programme, student will be awarded a certificate of completion for the four day Hybrid orthotropic orthodontics. The course is recognised for training purposes by the London School of Facial Orthotropics and the International Association of Facial Growth Guidance.

Learning & Teaching Methods
The programs are limited to a small number of students. Such intensive high quality teaching is only possible to a small group in order that a great deal of training can be gained in such a short period.  We encourage feedback and questions at all times to gauge the response and understanding of the students encouraging a continual seminar like environment that is only possible with small numbers. Learning and teaching is via lectures, case-based discussion, and clinical observation. In addition the students will have access to our on-line learning suite, with pre-recorded modules and interactive online treatment support interface.

Assessment
Throughout the course constant informal feedback will be sort to guide the progress of the candidates. In addition to this, some formal examinations will be undertaken to gauge the level of individual understanding and inform the students for their progress.

Overall Aims
